Here is the coronavirus or COVID-19 situation report for Zimbabwe by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) as of 24 June 2021:

  • New cases: 826
  • Local Cases: 825
  • Returnees: 1 (from South Africa)
  • Deaths: 17
  • Lockdown Update: Kariba (43), Karoi (48), Chinhoyi (24) & Kwekwe (36) remain under localised lockdowns.
  • Hotspot update: Chirundu (38), Doro (11), Nyangoma (20), Chidamoyo (15), Kazangare (16) (Mash west Chiredzi (76) Masvingo Province, Nkulumane (16), Emakhandeni (11) and Northern Suburbs (36) (Bulawayo), have been classified as hotspots.
  • Vaccinations: 10 526 (first dose); 15 940 (second dose)
  • Total Cumulative Vaccinations: 725 582 (first dose); 467 733 (second dose)
  • Tests: 4 888 (16.9%)
  • Recoveries: 47
  • National Recovery Rate: 85%
  • Active Cases: 5 073
