The Level 4 National Lockdown effected on 5 January 2021 has been extended by a further two weeks to 15 February 2021.
The number of new cases has been on the decline after a surge soon after the Christmas season. The lockdown was effected by the government to restrict the spread of delay variant of Covid-19
