Rapper Quavo, from the trio Migos, is readying to do more work as an actor and has already signed an agreement to participate in a movie. In the project, titled “Wash Me in the River”, the artist character will be a drug dealer named Coyote. The information was released on Thursday (18) by Variety.
In addition to the singer, the cast also has a confirmed presence of several popular names in Hollywood, such as Robert De Niro, John Malkovich and Jack Huston. All are under the direction of Randall Emmett, with filming currently underway in Puerto Rico.
The film is described as a mixture of suspense and action, in the style of “Where the Weak Have No Time”. He accompanies a recovering opioid addict who seeks revenge against drug dealer Coyote, responsible for selling drugs that resulted in the death of a very dear person.
It is worth remembering that this should be Quavo’s theatrical debut. Previously, the artist made television appearances in series such as “Atlanta”, “Narcos: Mexico”, “Black-ish” and “Star.”
