Having started music in 2018, Rodney Lee Mupitirira commonly known as Muzukuru waBruce Lee has been slowing rising to the scene. Not only is he a rapper, he is a singer and songwriter born and bred in Gweru and also finishing up his degree at the University of Zimbabwe.

This young artist has a unique versatile music style which is a fusion of ZimHipHop, RnB and Afropop. His music is heavily influenced by Drake though he had his one fresh and original sound. He started working with Sokowe MG as and individual artist and he did several projects with him. After working with him for so long, Rodney was later signed to Sokowe MG which became a milestone in his life.

Recently he gave us ‘Chitsoma’ which is an AfriDancehall fusion with Major Lazer influences in-terms of its production. Chitsoma is slang for someone who is constantly nagging for attention to a point where it becomes too annoying and makes that person come off as way too needy. In short (Chitsoma munhu anotsoma). The track was produced, mixed and mastered by Afrow Zenda at Sokowe MG.

He has a couple of follow up singles coming after Chitsoma and is also currently working on his debut Ep which will be released later on this year. We cannot wait to hear what he has in store for us.
